ST JOSEPH’S NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER DRIVE

The Social Ministry Committee is sponsoring a drive
to support St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center which
is located on South Ave. in Rochester. The center
offers comprehensive health care, counseling, adult
education and social work to individuals and
families who lack health insurance. This is a
ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph established in
1993.
The drive will take place the weekend of October
11th and 12th. Items can be left in the bins located
in the Narthex. All donations must be received by
Sunday, October 12th.
The wish list includes:

  • hygiene products
  • disposable razors
  • paper lunch bags
  • 13 gallon kitchen trash bags
  • 33 gallon black trash bags
  • paper plates
  • Tops or Wegman’s gift cards
  • gas cards
  • phone cards
  • Staples gift cards
  • city bus passes
  • calendars
  • books for children and adults
  • laundry soap
  • bathroom products
  • gallon jugs of distilled water
  • business envelopes
  • copy paper
  • yellow legal pads
  • postage stamps
  • post it notes
  • AA batteries
  • Also needed are tea bags, coffee, instant hot
  • chocolate, powdered coffee creamer, microwave
  • popcorn, napkins, paper towels.
