About St. Pius X
St. Pius X Catholic Church and School was originally known as St. Feehan's and was
located on Chestnut Ridge Road on the site of the current cemetery. Bishop
Kearney celebrated the dedicatory Mass for the "new" Chili Avenue site on
May 19, 1957. This "new" church was located in what is now the present
school gynasium. The first Mass in the current church building was
celebrated on January 26, 1971. A Parish Fellowship Center was added in
January, 2006.
Presently, St. Pius X serves over 2,000 families in the Diocese of
Rochester.
The Lenten Penance Services at St. Pius Tenth will be at 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm on Monday, March 19, 2012.
ASH WEDNESDAY in February 22, 2012. Distribution of ashes will be at 7:00 a.m. Mass, 12:00 Noon Prayer Service and 7:00 p.m. Mass.
