Sue Vandervoort

Susan VandervoortSt. Pius Tenth Parish has been my home for the last six years.  My husband, family and I joined the Parish in 1997 shortly after we moved to Chili.  Prior to that we belonged to St. Brigid’s Parish in Bergen, New York.

I have six children and one son-in-law, and a very active 3 year old granddaughter, Izabella.  In November of 2008, God gifted us with yet another granddaughter, Annalynn!  Most of our children have grown and moved on their own.  Jim and I will have two daughters at home to fill our free time.  This parish community has become a very large part of our lives.  It is through this parish community that we have grown.

Ministry is a very rewarding and challenging career.  I am by trade a Nurse and this training has greatly enhanced my ability to serve this community.

I have been active at St. Pius in a variety of areas.  Prior to my tenure in the office Jim and I were Co-Chairs the Annual Country Fair.  Definitely a labor of love.  Most recently, I am involved in the Music Ministry singing for the Band Faith on Fire.  I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you through my volunteering projects at St. Pius Tenth and here in the office.

I look forward to seeing and meeting many of you in the days, months, and years to come.  I look forward to serving you in my ministry Pastoral Business Manager.
