The faith formation program assists parents, who are the primary catechists for their children, to help children grow in love of Christ and in understanding of our faith, thereby wanting to live as followers of Jesus.

This year we have used:
Grades 1 – 5
Be My Disciple by RCL-Benziger which provide our children with age appropriate Catholic faith formation to help them grow in their conversion to Jesus Christ, while developing the habits of discipleship, which is rooted in a daily decision to choose life in Christ and to live as an active, committed member of the Catholic Church.
Grade 6 – 7
The Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers by St. Mary’s Press which provides a comprehensive program to foster the faith of young adolescents and help them make the connections between the Catholic faith, their everyday life, and their faith community, which will strengthen their Catholic identity and inspire them to participate more fully in the Church’s mission.
Grades 8 – 9
The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth by St. Mary’s Press which is an easy-to-understand and practical guide to all things Catholic. The handbook helps the young person gain the foundational catechesis to present him or herself as a Candidate for Confirmation at the end of 9th grade.
Grades 10 – 12
Understanding the Catechism by RCL-Benziger which provides a deeper understanding of the Four Pillars of the Catholic Church: Creed, Sacraments, Morality and Prayer and how to live a life guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church.
