Faith Formation for Children
Adult volunteer teachers provide Catholic children with age appropriate faith formation by building on their life experiences,
family involvement, personal spirituality, religious understanding and moral development. Design to complement the role of the
Christian parent in the important task of helping children love Jesus, love and learn their faith and live as followers of Jesus.

Registration for all programs will begin April 2, 2012.

Programs for the coming year will include:
Weekly Faith Formation for Grades 1-6
Dedicated volunteer catechists share their faith and knowledge with St. Pius X children
Tuesdays – September 18, 2012 thru April 30, 2013
6:16pm – 7:30pm in the School
Jr High Youth Ministry for Grades 7-8
Open for all St. Pius X young people (and their friends) – fosters parish connection for all youth as well as faith formation for youth not in Catholic Schools
Mondays – September 17, 2012 thru May 20, 2013
6:30pm – 8:00 pm in the Parish Center
Family Faith Formation
A combination of Faith Formation materials studied at home weekly and gathered enhancement sessions once a month before the 10:30am Mass.
TWO CHOICES:

Pre-K and Kindergarten Childcare with a Catholic Focus
Children meet for stories, prayer and songs on a different theme each week, on Sunday mornings during the 10:30am Mass.
September 9, 2012 – May 19, 2012 (NOT on holidays or break weeks)
10:30am – 11:30am in the School
VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH FAITH FORMATION/YOUTH MINISTRY
Volunteers are needed for Teaching/Leading
(CASE Training Certification is required – inquire with Johan)
We ask ALL parents to find ways to assist during the many years that children are enrolled in our Faith Formation/Youth Ministry Program
