Music Ministry


The Music Ministry leads the assembly in hymns, liturgical song and special anthems which reflect the readings and the season of the church year. There are several ways to share musical talents:

5:00 p.m. SATURDAY
This ensemble is open to parishioners 12 years and older. They sing a mixture of contemporary and traditional music. Participants could be vocalists and/or instrumentalists.

8:30 a.m. SUNDAY
The Folk Group is open to high school youth and adults. They sing a mixture of contemporary and traditional music. Guitars, pianos, violins, trumpets and keyboards are the main instruments used in this ensemble. Participants can be vocalists and/or instrumentalists.

l0:30 a.m. SUNDAY
The Choir sings at this Mass. They sing a mixture of contemporary and traditional music. Participants are typically vocalists.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR
The "Works of God" Children's Choir sings once per month during the school year at various masses and also on Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. lt is open to children in grades 2 to 8 and they practice weekly.
