Social Ministry Committee
Using the consistent life ethic and the dignity of each human being as a model, the Social Justice and Ministry
Committees surface and respond to areas of need within the parish and neighboring community. Members invite
parishioners to participate in various outreach projects throughout the year such as:
- Christmas Giving Tree
- Donations to Migrant Workers
- Thanksgiving Food Baskets
- Red Cross Blood Drives (the next one is January 29,2011)
- Showers of Love (May of each year for moms and babies in crisis)
- Weekly food collections for the poor
Parishioners may also contribute to those in need via the World Need Fund indicated on your weekly envelopes.
