Why Go to Sunday Youth or Other Parish Youth Events?

Because it’s all about community—learning to serve, growing in faith, and doing it all with people your own age!

Think you already know enough about your faith? Think again!

This year, we’ll dive into the regular Diocesan curriculum plus add practical discipleship skills for following Christ in today’s world.

We’ll learn about:

• Building authentic friendships
• Praying in ways that truly connect you to God
• Discerning God’s will for your life
• Handling anger with grace
• Growing in courage and trust
• Creating a personal mission statement

All of these are not just faith-based skills—they’re life skills that build resilience, helping you bounce back from adversity while surrounding yourself with peers who share your values.

This year, we’re stepping outside the box—and outside the classroom for some special events! Our teens will help shape the curriculum themselves. In October, they’ll explore the readings for the year and choose the topics that need to be unpacked together. We’ll also look at themes that connect directly to living out Christian faith at home, in school, and even on the athletic field.

We’ll mix in some fun, unconventional nights—all grounded in solid Catholic teaching, but presented in ways that are engaging, creative, and real.
