  • SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

    Prepares parents, godparents, sponsors, candidates and others for the important role each plays in the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, Confirmation, and Marriage.

    We are happy to help you as adult to complete your Sacraments of Initiation.

  • LITURGY COMMITTEE

    Directs the people’s hearts and minds for their conscious and active participation in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Sacraments and prayer services.

  • FUNERAL MINISTRY

    Acts as parish liaison for families in the planning of the Funeral Liturgy via our Funeral Planning Guide. Provides all pertinent information and helps coordinate the service, music, altar servers, the funeral luncheon team.

  • FUNERAL LUNCHEON MINISTRY

    In an attempt to offer a caring presence and provide a place of comfort for the family and friends of a deceased one, the parish has established the tradition of offering a place to gather together after the funeral for a lunch or continental breakfast when possible.

  • ALTAR SERVERS

    Any parishioner in grade 3 and above, who has received First Eucharist,  may serve at parish liturgies once training is completed. Click here for more information.

  • EXTRORDNARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION

    Assists in the distribution of Eucharist at Mass and to shut-ins and the sick once training is completed. Click here for more information.

  • LECTORS

    Lectors proclaim scripture readings at all Masses and special liturgies.  Training is provided for any confirmed parishioner. Click here for more information.

  • HOSPITALITY MINISTRY @ MASS

    Provides a warm welcoming environment for all people who enter through the church doors of St. Pius Tenth & assists with outside help if needed.

    Makes all guests feel accepted, recognized, informed, and most of all feel their visit is appreciated.

  • MUSIC MINISTRY

    Enhances church liturgies through music and song, and encourages active participation in the Mass by those gathered. Vocalists and instrumentalists are welcome.  Click here for more information.

To Illuminate our Faith

  • LADIES OF GRACE, WOMENS BIBLE STUDY

    Provides weekly opportunities for women to experience a closer relationship with Christ through the study of His word, and greater understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church.

  • FISHERS OF MEN

    Men ministering to men in fellowship; men who pray together, but not just a prayer group; men of faith, but not just a faith group; men who offer support, but not just a support group.

  • PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

    Handmade knitted and crochet items given as a comfort for those coping with an illness or grieving a loss or celebrating a milestone. Our knitting sessions weave our hearts and souls together as witnesses to God’s love.



  • FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN

    Assists parents as the primary catechist for their children by supporting each child’s growth in knowing and loving Christ, in understanding our faith, and in inspiring them to live as followers of Jesus.

  • YOUTH MINISTRY

    Helps empower young Catholics to live as Christ’s disciples, drawing them into active participation in the life, mission and work of our Catholic community.

To Make New Disciples of Christ

  • MINISTERS TO THE HOMEBOUND/ HOSPITAL VISITATION

    Reaches out to those parishioners who are homebound due to illness, surgery or advanced age. Prayer and Communion along with companionship are a vital part of this ministry. Organizes and implements pastoral visits to parishioners in area hospitals.

  • GREETING CARD MAILING

    Reaches out by mailing get-well cards to parishioners in the hospital and sympathy cards to families at the time of a loved one’s death.



  • SEASONED PEOPLE

    Promotes friendship and goodwill among members 55 years and older through regular gatherings, activities and fellowship.

  • COUNTRY FAIR & FLEA MARKET

    Through teamwork, commitment and fellowship the flea market assists in the mission of the parish by raising necessary funds via the annual community-wide event.

  • SOCIAL EVENTS

    With a growing, engaged parish comes new ideas and new initiatives. Our purpose is to help enable that those events and activities happen with necessary support and parish involvement.

In Jesus Christ

  • CYO ADVISORY COMMITTEE

    Assists the Athletic Director with the implementation of  CYO-based programs in the parish, ensuring that the mission of CYO and its programs are carried out in a timely manner.



  • COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

    Facilitates external and internal communication within the parish and community, advocating for the St. Pius Tenth mission for the sake of the Gospel and the growth of the parish.  Also supports parish evangelization via technology and communications, including website development and maintenance,  AV, computers/software and social media.

  • KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

    The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society.  Our local council holds true to the founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity.

  • PARISH COUNCIL

    As chosen representatives for the parish, we inspire worship, promote outreach, provide stewardship, and facilitate evangelization of our parish and community.  Email:  cstpiusx@dor.org

  • FAITH FORMATION

    Works with Directors of FF & Youth Ministry to organize comprehensive lifelong FF ministry at St. Pius Tenth Parish. Provides insight to & evaluation of current programs to help secure the personal and spiritual development of children, youth, young adults, and adults in their Catholic faith.

  • PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (PAC)

  • STEPHEN MINISTRY

    Provides one-to-one Christian care to members of our parish and our community who are experiencing grief, loneliness, divorce, disability, job loss and many other life difficulties.

    Identifies and responds to the needs of anyone in and outside our parish community, including but not limited to food drives, Christmas giving tree, and support for various local organizations.

    Lends beauty to God’s house, thus inspiring those who gather for worship throughout the church seasons.



  • YOUTH MINISTRY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

    The mission of the Youth Ministry Advisory Committee is to coordinate and develop a vision for total youth ministry at St. Pius Tenth Parish. Young people and adults assist the Youth Ministry Director in developing opportunities for young people to live out their Catholic faith in age appropriate ways.
